First session of the “The lawyer's role in the world of sport” programme ⚖️
On 18 March, the EFB’s new qualifying programme on the lawyer’s role in the world of sport officially began.
Alongside Jacques Messeca, I am delighted to co-direct this qualifying programme and to open its first session, devoted to the major legal and institutional issues facing professional sport in France.
Many thanks to Nicolas Bone for moderating this inaugural session, and to Amélie OUDÉA-CASTÉRA, former Minister for Sport and President of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), for her contribution and for sharing her experience.
These opening discussions confirmed the value of this series: sharing experience, offering a perspective on sports law that is both strategic and practical, and supporting fellow lawyers as their practices evolve.
Delighted to see this project come to life and looking forward to continuing these discussions at the next sessions.
