FFF – French Football Federation Summer Federal Assembly in Ajaccio ⚽☀️

On 6 and 7 June, we gathered in Ajaccio for the FFF Federal Assembly.

Two days of discussions, debates and votes on important issues for our football. Among the decisions adopted was a 2026–2027 budget of EUR 348 million, approved by 84.66% of votes. A symbolic milestone, as the Federation exceeds EUR 300 million for the first time in its history.

We also discussed:

• the future professional Ligue 3;
• the creation of a league governing football in Guadeloupe;
• technical coaching for young players;
• several amendments to federation regulations.

A small personal note: this was the third Federal Assembly I had chaired. In the end, you also gain confidence from one Assembly to the next. 😊

Many thanks to Stéphane Vannucci, President of the Corsican Football League, and to all the Corsican organisers for their hospitality. We were made very welcome.

And the “Island of Beauty” truly lives up to its name. A special mention for the Sofitel and its incredible view, which made the breaks between meetings particularly enjoyable.

As we gathered in Ajaccio, another subject was already dominating many conversations: the World Cup, which was due to begin a few days later.

The World Cup has since begun. Tonight, Les Bleus play their opening match. We wish them a wonderful World Cup. 🇫🇷⚽🌍
