With the finish line officially closed on 7 December 2022 at 1 pm local time, we would like to bring this 12th edition to a close with you.

This year, we experienced a particularly emotional edition, with wonderful moments as well as more painful ones, including:

- 138 sailing boats, a record that will go down in history,
- a postponed start, for the first time, due to adverse weather conditions,
- a few race incidents: dismastings, collisions and skippers capsizing,
- outstanding organisation and organisers who managed the race to perfection.

Congratulations to Charles Caudrelier, who crossed the finish line in 6 days, 19 hours, 47 minutes and 25 seconds!

Another record has been broken, but it is not the only one: this year, the first three finishers all beat Francis Joyon’s 2018 record.

We therefore finish this race with 103 classified boats, 30 retirements and five boats still at sea…

The firm was once again delighted to advise the Guadeloupe Region 🇬🇵 on this wonderful event.

We cannot conclude this edition without a heartfelt thought for the two people we lost and their families 🖤.

We look forward to seeing you in four years for new adventures!
