The FTFA thus loses all its membership rights, as defined in Article 13 of the FIFA Statutes.
This suspension was prompted by recent decisions by the Chadian government authorities to withdraw the delegation of powers to the FTFA, establish a national committee to manage Chadian football temporarily and take possession of the FTFA’s premises.

This suspension will be lifted as soon as the government decisions are reversed and the leadership has been able to confirm to FIFA that it has regained possession of its premises.

This suspension appears to have little immediate impact on Chadian football, as the country has already been eliminated from the race for the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for 2022 in Cameroon and from the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

To date, the suspension has still not been lifted.
