Adopted definitively at the end of September 2021, the bill relating to the regulation and protection of access to cultural works in the digital age must offer new weapons to sports channels to fight against piracy.
This law will be implemented via a new regulatory body, Arcom (Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority), whose birth is scheduled for January 2022.
Arcom will be responsible for linking the judicial authority, pay channels, rights holders, and technical operators to prevent pirate sites from operating and have the possibility of legal action.
