In the wake of “FifaGate” in 2015, a case that led to the arrest of several world football leaders for corruption, the United States Department of Justice granted, Tuesday, August 24, 201 million dollars to the “ FIFA Foundation ” in compensation for corrupt practices at work for decades.

Bribes were mainly paid in exchange for the allocation of TV rights. The sums paid in compensation will primarily finance youth assistance programs.

American justice is continuing its investigations, particularly about the 2022 World Cup attributed to Qatar and suspicions of vote-buying.

Ms Monlouis brings her expert assessment of football overall and globally and on Africa, which remains the focus on our TV channel. Her football knowledge has always impressed me; she can write about it without being a professional athlete in this field. The bonus for me comes from the analyses and legal advice she brings to our audience.
