The FIFA Disciplinary Committee severely sanctioned Paris FC and Angers SCO with a fine of 30,000 Swiss francs (27,300 euros) and a transfer ban, both nationally and internationally, for breaches the provisions relating to relay transfers appearing in article 5a of the regulations on the status and transfer of players.
This new regulation in force stipulates that: the "Relay transfer: refers to two consecutive national or international transfers of the same player, within the framework of which the registration of the player with the intermediate club aims to bypass the regulation or applicable law and/or defraud any person or entity" (definition number 24 of the RSTJ).
The world body has also banned them from any recruitment during the next transfer window.
FIFA has informed the FFF - French Football Federation and the Angers SCO club of the suspension of the decision from this day until the notification of the reasons for the said decision.
