Only eight women's football clubs from across Africa will be privileged to play in the first edition of the CAF Women's Champions League, which is currently taking place from November 5 to 19, 2021, in Egypt.

This new competition remains a real breakthrough for athletes on the continent.

The Champions League should allow the best players to face each other.

With the creation of the competition, CAF also organized a training course for the 25 referees who will officiate in the Women's Champions League.

CAF thus becomes the third Confederation to set up a Champions League after Europe (UEFA) and South America (Copa Libertadores CONMEBOL)

Ms Monlouis brings her expert assessment of football overall and globally and on Africa, which remains the focus on our TV channel. Her football knowledge has always impressed me; she can write about it without being a professional athlete in this field. The bonus for me comes from the analyses and legal advice she brings to our audience.
