The Irish Football Association has decided to pay the same match bonuses to players representing the Republic of Ireland's senior women's and men's teams at international fixtures.

To reach this agreement, the men's team agreed to lower their bonus so that the Federation could increase the salaries paid to the players.

England, Brazil, Australia, Norway and New Zealand are among the countries that have also publicly pledged to do the same.

The Federation added that tournament qualification bonuses would also be subject to this principle.

Which country will be the next to join this new dynamic?

Ms Monlouis brings her expert assessment of football overall and globally and on Africa, which remains the focus on our TV channel. Her football knowledge has always impressed me; she can write about it without being a professional athlete in this field. The bonus for me comes from the analyses and legal advice she brings to our audience.
